My OOO Message

One of my favorite people at work said that my Out-of-Office message is better than any of my blogs. They are no longer "one of my favorites."

Here's my OOO:


I’m out of office today but will be checking email constantly just to annoy my family.

If you need to escalate anything, please email me everything the person did or didn’t do and cc them.

It’s amazing how much stuff changes when you do that last piece.

In fact, leave me off that email.

Better yet, don’t send an email. Pick up the phone and call that person and show them respect and kindness.

It’s amazing how much stuff gets done when you do that last piece.

If you’re still annoyed, imagine how my family feels spending their day off with me.
